The Camden Promise

Project: Logo Design

Goals: The Camden Promise is a new non-profit brought to life by the support of its partnership between Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Evangelist Temple and Brooklyn Center 7th Day Adventist congregations serving the Camden Community of Minneapolis. The three congregations have equal ownership and goals in the project. With their launch, they have planned their first fundraiser to introduce themselves to the community. However, The Camden Promise was still without an identity. Here is where we stepped it. We put together their roots of a three part partnership with their goals of growth in the community. With this direction, we quickly landed on loving the visual representation of a tree. The final logo takes these ideas and add a more personal touch by using a hand as the branches of the tree.
