Goals: Based off our great success with the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd web site, we were approached by another organization to assist them with their web site redesign. Norway House is a non-profit based in Minneapolis. They work through their affiliates, programs and events to promote ‘appreciation and understanding of the American-Norwegian experience and its relationship to modern Norway.’ It was important to them that they showcased the great impact that the Norway House has on their community by keeping visitors engaged with up-to-date information.

With these needs in mind, we opted to create a WordPress site for them. They loved the look and functionality of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd site, so we used that as our launching point. We made sure to focus on their recent blog posts, three main programs and affiliate organizations right on the home page. We added a Google Calendar feature to easily keep visitors aware of upcoming events as well as a newsletter subscription form so that users can opt in to the Norway House newsletter. With all these new tools, communicating with their audience has never been easier.
