Goals: North Shore Academy of the Arts is a well-known and respected, non-profit arts academy on Milwaukee’s North Shore. NSAA offers extra-curricular programs for students of all ages in the performing arts, visual arts and literary arts. Celebrating their 10th year in the community, a web site redesign was in order. We decided that adding online registration capabilities was just the way to grow in this 10th year. Not only does this streamline the registration process for students, but it also saves a lot of time on NSAA’s administrative end. The marketing director has also been expanding the academy’s internet reach by using social media tools. We wanted to make sure to tie these tools into the new web site… and we thought it was only natural to add blogging capabilities for the redesign. By having a blogging site, NSAA will be able to connect with their audience on a regular basis.
