You may have read rumblings of a truly important debate recently. Both sides seem to refuse compromise, using misguided logic to rationalize their points.
What? Who’s Scott Walker? Oh. Oh my, he trying to… Well, wow, but that’s not what I was getting at.
I actually had my first trip over to Revolution Brewing when I was thinking about moving the company to Chicago. My friend Katie and I were exploring neighborhoods last February and she insisted we try Revolution Brewing as it was new to Logan Square. Immediately, I loved it.
A lot has been said about the iPad. In fact, I’ve said a lot about the iPad. The delayed shipment tactic is working right into the hands of Apple. Those that criticized are warming up to the idea and those that immediately loved it are champing at the bit.
Yesterday, while coding a rough design for a site, I had a quick discussion with a former coworker. It played out like this, paraphrased:
ME: Is a hover on the logo enough for less savvy users to know it’s a link to home?
Coworker: In most cases, no. There needs to be “home” somewhere; people are programmed to look for it.
ME: Ugh.
